Make Something Beautiful Today

Hey crafty friends, welcome to my blog!

This time I played along with January 15th sketch challenge from Stuck?! Sketches

Here's my take

This page is about my daughter when she was about six years old and her hobby of making art and craft.

Here's some close up

I used mixed collection from Dear Lizzy, Shimelle, and embellishments from Maggie Holmes for my layout. I also used large doily to follow the circle in the sketch.

I hope you like my take and thank you for you for stopping by.

Have a great day!

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog!

I can't believe it's 15th January already! Boy..time flies! But I'm glad to know that we have another great sketch from Let's Get Sketchy

Oh my, I love this sketch. Anyone who follows me in Instagram knows that I love to use multiple photos in my layout.

These photos of me are taken from my recent trip to Singapore. I used Teresa Collins-Something Wonderful collection for this layout. I love that this collection has a wonderful stripped paper that I can cut to follow the sketch.

Come take a look at Let's Get Sketchy blog to see another gorgeous layouts made by my fellow DTs. Remember that you still have time to play along with us until 30 January 2018. You can't win the prize if you don't play along :D

Be Brave My Darling

Hi folks, welcome to my blog!

Yaay..I joined another challenge at Paper Issues called January Sketch Challenge.

Here is the sketch

And here is my take

I dig in an old collection from Crate Paper called Wonder. It's such a beautiful collection, perfect to document your kids. I love everything about this collection, from the paper to the embellishments. No wonder I hoard these for quite some time :D

The photo was taken during our holiday to De Ranch theme park in Bandung back in the year 2013 when my daughter was 8 years old. She was so happy to try archery for the first time. So determined to focus and shoot the target. Such a brave heart!

The sketch is so fun play with. I had no difficulties in putting the page together. I finished the page in about one hour and very pleased with the result.

Thanks for stopping by!

You Brighten Up My Day

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

I've been a fan of Paper Issues for quite so long. They offer tons of beautiful free cut files and have different kind of challenge for each month. I've used their free cut files on several of my pages but as much as I love their challenge, I've never joined the game. Silly me, I don't know why  :D

Enough said, for the first time ever, I joined the challenge called January 2018 Take 5 Tuesday Challenge.

We must use at least 5 items from the Take 5 list, and I used navy blue, large photo, patterned paper, sticker, and star.

Here's my take

I used mostly Bella Blvd stuff for this page with mixed embellishment from several other manufacturers. Love that the lion patterned paper and sticker match the toy that my son hold. My boy is such a cutie :D

Well, I'm having so much fun creating my page based on their challenge. Let me assure you that I'd be joining their challenge again in the future.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Seriously Cute

Hello, and welcome to my blog!

It's always good to start off the week with a new crafty project. I spent my new year holiday at home, creating some layouts for my personal project and DT project. I love having extra time so I could create something with no rush.

I created a layout of my son from our recent trip to Ancol theme park.

I cut the chevron shapes paper from Simple Stories Good Day Sunshine collection. At first I didn't know what to do with it. But then I tried to play along and try to find a matching paper to start with. I used Studio Calico paper for the base of my layout and used subway flag from Pink Paislee Hey Kid collection to embellish my page.

I really like how the page turned out. My son looks so cute with his duck face posed and this page captured his cuteness perfectly.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Let's Get Sketchy - January 1st Sketch

Hello, and welcome to my blog!

I want to share my DT post for Let's Get Sketchy. They have a new wonderful sketch for this month and I have created a layout about my son when he was 2 month old.

I use love as my inspiration. As you can see, my pattern papers from Webster's Page have love word and symbol written on all over it. So I die cut a love shape from Maggie Holmes dies and use Fall in Love free cut file from Paper Issues as my tittle.

I really love how this page turned out. The red paper background really make my page pop!

I hope you enjoy my layout and will hop over to Let's Get Sketchy to see what other DT have created. Come play along and join the fun as they offer a generous $30.00 gift certificate from Creative Embellishments for this month's winner. You have till 30 January 2018 to play with us!

Happy Crafting!
