Paper Issues February Challenge - Bigger is Better

Hello folks, welcome to my blog!

Another share from me of Paper Issues February Challenge called Bigger is Better

I love this challenge. I cut out the word Precious using my Cameo. As requested, I cut them as big as possible so it will fit on the 12x12 layout. Next I embellished the layout to my heart content and very pleased with the result.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

So I will share all the pages in my blog in several posts. This time a page created for Take 5 challenge in February.

Here's my take:

Look at those photos of my daughter! She's so sassy :D

Well, I used more that 5 items for my layout coz it's so much fun! I used red, white, turquoise, polka dots, heart, arrow, flair, patterned paper, label, and something shiny. Phew, that's 10 in total! Busted :)

Thank you for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

Paper Issues February Challenge - Polka Dot Party

Hi crafty friends, welcome to my blog!

If you follow me on Instagram I bet you know how much I love challenge and Paper Issues has plenty of challenges every month.

So I want to share my page created for Polka Dot Party challenge back in February.

Here's my take:

Don't get me wrong, I love polka dot for scrapbooking but I hate it if I have to wear it for my outfit! I have zero outfit with polka dot pattern!

Ok, back to my page. These are photos of my daughter playing silly in my brother's house. She pretended to ride the skateboard. Boy, she can't skate, she can't even ride a bicycle! Can't you believe that!!

This page is a polka dot galore. There are polka dots everywhere from the background paper to the tittle! But hey, I love the way it turned out.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Paper Issues - Old School Challenge

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog!

Each month Paper Issues has multiple challenges on their facebook group and I love their challenges!

This time I played along with a challenge called Old School. We must use vintage photo or simply print your photo in black & white.

Well, there's a first time for everything and this is the first time for me in the history of scrapbooking that I used black & white photo on my layout.

Here's my take for the challenge:

First, I cut out this beautiful Broken Hearts of Glass Background cut file from NeatNCraftyCutz using my Silhouette Cameo. Then I backed the paper with a paper from On Trend Collection by Crate Paper. Next I simply embellish the page with various embellishments from Crate Paper as well.

I super duper love the way it turned out. Safe to say that I love using black and white photo on my page from now on :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy Times

Hello crafty friends. welcome to my blog!

Last month, I joined Scraplift Sunday January 21st at Paper Issues. The inspiration came from a layout created by Elodie Lusseau.

When I saw the challenge, I knew that I had to use On Trend collection from Crate Paper that I've been hoarding for ages!

Here's my take

The collection has a beautiful paper with several tags on it. I just had to cut the tags and arrange them based on the inspiration layout. I love the heart doily paper that I tucked in behind my photo, so beautiful! Next I used bits and pieces from my stash to complete the layout. I love how easy this page came together.

Thank you for visiting! Wishing you a wonderful day!

Be Brave My Darling

Hi folks, welcome to my blog!

Yaay..I joined another challenge at Paper Issues called January Sketch Challenge.

Here is the sketch

And here is my take

I dig in an old collection from Crate Paper called Wonder. It's such a beautiful collection, perfect to document your kids. I love everything about this collection, from the paper to the embellishments. No wonder I hoard these for quite some time :D

The photo was taken during our holiday to De Ranch theme park in Bandung back in the year 2013 when my daughter was 8 years old. She was so happy to try archery for the first time. So determined to focus and shoot the target. Such a brave heart!

The sketch is so fun play with. I had no difficulties in putting the page together. I finished the page in about one hour and very pleased with the result.

Thanks for stopping by!

You Brighten Up My Day

Hello, and welcome to my blog.

I've been a fan of Paper Issues for quite so long. They offer tons of beautiful free cut files and have different kind of challenge for each month. I've used their free cut files on several of my pages but as much as I love their challenge, I've never joined the game. Silly me, I don't know why  :D

Enough said, for the first time ever, I joined the challenge called January 2018 Take 5 Tuesday Challenge.

We must use at least 5 items from the Take 5 list, and I used navy blue, large photo, patterned paper, sticker, and star.

Here's my take

I used mostly Bella Blvd stuff for this page with mixed embellishment from several other manufacturers. Love that the lion patterned paper and sticker match the toy that my son hold. My boy is such a cutie :D

Well, I'm having so much fun creating my page based on their challenge. Let me assure you that I'd be joining their challenge again in the future.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Let's Get Sketchy - January 1st Sketch

Hello, and welcome to my blog!

I want to share my DT post for Let's Get Sketchy. They have a new wonderful sketch for this month and I have created a layout about my son when he was 2 month old.

I use love as my inspiration. As you can see, my pattern papers from Webster's Page have love word and symbol written on all over it. So I die cut a love shape from Maggie Holmes dies and use Fall in Love free cut file from Paper Issues as my tittle.

I really love how this page turned out. The red paper background really make my page pop!

I hope you enjoy my layout and will hop over to Let's Get Sketchy to see what other DT have created. Come play along and join the fun as they offer a generous $30.00 gift certificate from Creative Embellishments for this month's winner. You have till 30 January 2018 to play with us!

Happy Crafting!
