Let's Get Sketchy - June 15th Sketch

Hello crafty friends, welcome to my blog!

Today I want to share the June 15th sketch by Let's Get Sketchy.

Brenshevia always created a beautiful sketch for Let's Get Sketchy and this mid month sketch is no exception!

Here's the sketch

And here's my take

I used my stash to create this layout. I chose a paper from Crate Paper as the background. I cut a paper from Fancy Pants Design into several strips and used them as a layer underneath my photo.

I mixed several embellishments from different collections and placed them throughout my layout to my heart content. I really love the end result here!

I hope you could play along with us at Let's Get Sketchy! Happy crafting and have a wonderful day!

Paper Issues - Old School Challenge

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog!

Each month Paper Issues has multiple challenges on their facebook group and I love their challenges!

This time I played along with a challenge called Old School. We must use vintage photo or simply print your photo in black & white.

Well, there's a first time for everything and this is the first time for me in the history of scrapbooking that I used black & white photo on my layout.

Here's my take for the challenge:

First, I cut out this beautiful Broken Hearts of Glass Background cut file from NeatNCraftyCutz using my Silhouette Cameo. Then I backed the paper with a paper from On Trend Collection by Crate Paper. Next I simply embellish the page with various embellishments from Crate Paper as well.

I super duper love the way it turned out. Safe to say that I love using black and white photo on my page from now on :)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy Times

Hello crafty friends. welcome to my blog!

Last month, I joined Scraplift Sunday January 21st at Paper Issues. The inspiration came from a layout created by Elodie Lusseau.

When I saw the challenge, I knew that I had to use On Trend collection from Crate Paper that I've been hoarding for ages!

Here's my take

The collection has a beautiful paper with several tags on it. I just had to cut the tags and arrange them based on the inspiration layout. I love the heart doily paper that I tucked in behind my photo, so beautiful! Next I used bits and pieces from my stash to complete the layout. I love how easy this page came together.

Thank you for visiting! Wishing you a wonderful day!

Be Brave My Darling

Hi folks, welcome to my blog!

Yaay..I joined another challenge at Paper Issues called January Sketch Challenge.

Here is the sketch

And here is my take

I dig in an old collection from Crate Paper called Wonder. It's such a beautiful collection, perfect to document your kids. I love everything about this collection, from the paper to the embellishments. No wonder I hoard these for quite some time :D

The photo was taken during our holiday to De Ranch theme park in Bandung back in the year 2013 when my daughter was 8 years old. She was so happy to try archery for the first time. So determined to focus and shoot the target. Such a brave heart!

The sketch is so fun play with. I had no difficulties in putting the page together. I finished the page in about one hour and very pleased with the result.

Thanks for stopping by!

Layouts of ME

Hi there, I'm sure everyone is on holiday mood right now and what could be better than spending holiday with your loved ones 😃

Today I want to share several layouts here. But it's not just ordinary layouts, cause all layouts featuring me, yes ME! I seldom scrap my photo, I don't know why but that's the truth. I guess I change my mind now. ME is also as important as my family and my children! 😄

Without further ado, here are the pages:

My Birthday Layout

Like many of you, I made tons of birthday layouts of my kid. But, I have to confess, I never scrapbook my very own birthday photos. I don't know why, maybe I felt that no need to scrapbook it at this very age :D

Well, that is about to change. I finally made a layout to document my birthday last March.

Here is the page:

I used Confetti collection from Crate Paper, which is totally gorgeous, that I've been hoarding. Simply add bits and pieces from the collection and voila the layout is done.

Thanks for stopping by!

Projects for Made With Love Indonesia Challenge

In order to celebrate 2016 National Scrapbooking Day, a local scrapbook store named Made With Love Indonesia hosted a challenge called One Week One Project during May 2016.

Of course I took part in the challenge. For Week One, the challenge was Scrapbook Layout, and Week Two was Handmade Card.

For Week One, I submitted not only one but five layouts. For Week Two, I made three cards. I guess I really didn't want to miss the opportunity of showcasing my projects.

I didn't win though, but it's ok. Practise makes perfect :)

Without further ado, here are the scrapbook layouts I made for the challenge:

As for Week 2 Challenge, here are the cards I made:

That's all from me today. Thanks for stopping by!
