Hi everyone! There's something unique about the current challenge at Let's Get Sketchy. This time they use a magazine ad as the inspiration instead of sketch.
Here's the inspiration:
I really love the color combo of the ad, so bright, fun and funky.
Here's my take:
The photo is a little bit fade since I took the photo in the middle of the night with poor lighting. The actual color is brighter than shown in the photo, the orange color is more vibrant and the green is even brighter. I'll replace the photo late if I have a better picture.
I chose the color that match with the color of the ad. I distress the edge of my paper to add the funky touch to my layout. The tittle were die cut using Kaisercraft decorative dies and Heidi Swapp. As usual, I mixed bits and pieces from different collections.
I am super happy with result and hope that you like it too :)
Thank you for stopping by!

Let's Get Sketchy - August Week 4
Hi everyone! Finally got a chance to play with another sketch from Let's Get Sketchy, August Week 4 that is.
Here is the sketch:
And here's my take :
When I see the sketch, I know that I'll be using the butterfly paper from Studio Calico that I've been hoarding for ages :)
I die cut the tittle using Kelly Purkey-Simon Says Stamp dies and heart border with Kaisercraft decorative dies. Bits and pieces are mixed from different collections.
I really liked the way it turned out. So perfect!

Let's Get Sketchy - July Week 4
Hi everyone! It's been a long time since my last post. I've been very busy lately and I kinda missed crafting and making pretty stuffs.
Luckily, I got a chance to play with Let's Get Sketchy July Week 4.
Here is the sketch :
And here is my take on the sketch :
For me, the sketch is so versatile and open for many ways of interpretation. I layered the background using dark wood grain paper to make the color pop. I cut the wood grain paper in the middle and use the B side as a base to my photo. You won't see the hole on the paper as I carefully placed everything to cover it.
Well, thank you for stopping by! I hope you had a great weekend.

Family Layouts
Hi everyone! I would like to share layouts I made using Family Ties collection from Pebbles Inc.
I've been hoarding the papers for ages and I think the time has come for me to scrap them. I made not only one but two layouts at once!
I took lots of photos during my birthday last March and they are in perfect match with the Family Ties collection.
Here is the first layout:
That's me, my mom and my grandma in the photo.
Second layout:
Now that's make four generations in the photo with my children on it.
I am so grateful and blessed beyound measures :)

Let's Get Sketchy - July Week 2
Hi everyone! Today I want to share a layout I made based on a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy.
Let's Get Sketchy always came up with a great sketch. I particularly love that the sketch has a doily on it. I love doily, I often use it on my layout.
Here is the layout I made:
I used papers mostly from Webster's Pages. Bits and pieces used are from different collections from different company, Crate Paper, October Afternoon, Simple Stories, Studio Calico, you name it :)
I die cut the tittle using decorative dies from Kaisercraft. Trust me, Kaisercraft has lots of beautiful word decorative dies you don't want to miss. I think I bought almost every dies they have ;-)
Thank you for stopping by.

I Love You More Everyday Layout
Hi all! Today, I want to share a layout I made using silhouette cameo. There are tons of beautiful layouts out there shared by other scrapbooker, and boy they all look gorgeous!
I am not master in using a die cut machine, not at all. I am still a beginner for sure :)
But I am eager to learn more so I could make a good use of my machine.
Well, for this particular layout, I used NDS 2016 Free Cut File shared by The Cut Shoppe.
Those cut files are gorgeous. I modified the Love is Everything cut file into one big background.
Here is the layout I made:
